When a refund may apply
- You were charged more than once for the same certificate attempt.
- The payment succeeded but the PDF could not be downloaded after reasonable troubleshooting.
- A payment was deducted but clearly failed or remained unresolved with the payment provider.
When a refund normally does not apply
- You changed your mind after successfully downloading the digital certificate.
- You expected an independently verified, government, employer, or examination certificate despite the displayed disclaimer.
- You lost the downloaded file after leaving the browser session.
Request window
Submit a refund request within 7 days of payment to support@typingnova.com, including the payment reference, payment date, amount, and a short description of the problem. This request window does not limit any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Processing
An approved refund is returned through the original payment method and may take the payment provider or bank several working days to appear. TypingNova reconciles the provider refund before changing the certificate record.
Effect on the certificate
After a full refund, the public verification record shows Refunded and is no longer valid. Public personal/result fields are removed or anonymized, and the private PDF is removed. A minimal non-public transaction or audit record is retained only for the applicable accounting, fraud, dispute, and legal period.
